Professional free skiers Kaj Zackrisson and Sverre Liliequist had loads of time to kill. When travelling the Rockies searching for the best skiing around they spent day in, day out in their minivan going from Aspen to Whistler, from Jackson to Vail and then back again. Sverre was looking for a way to make the time pass and also to find a cap with the right diffuse, smart look. Luckily enough Sverre mastered the noble art of crocheting. His handicraft infected his brother in arms Kaj and soon an underground cult took off. Caps in all shapes came out from the van and spread among the friends. The KASK cap was soon seen everywhere.
